In August, 2014, Mugwumpin premiered Luster, in collaboration with photographer Pak Han. This performance and photography installation, co-presented as educational programming by San Francisco's Asian Art Museum for their exhibit Gorgeous, invites audiences to delve into their aesthetic desires. A brief interview launches a series of one-on-one interactions with performers that ultimately result in portraits of participants and performers, bringing to life the participants' ideals of beauty.
